Our independent, family-run establishment is set in the quiet, leafy residential town of Horley, just 5 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

Despite our proximity to Gatwick, we’re not in the Gatwick flight path. It’s the ideal location for convenient airport guest house accommodation without the noise and bustle. The location of the hotel is also ideal for business travellers. Horley train station is only a 5 minute walk, and a regular service runs in to London Victoria.

Many guests return to enjoy our competitive rates, cleanliness, and our free minibus service from Gatwick to the hotel (09:00 to 21:00, and from the hotel to Gatwick 24 hours a day). Our reception is open for check in 24 hours a day, so what ever time your flight gets in, there is always someone to welcome you.

Hotel information

The same family has owned and operated the Gatwick Belmont guest house for over 11 years. Our experience has given us a valuable insight into what our customers require from an airport bed and breakfast, hotel or guest house.

We are one of the few Gatwick hotels in the area that have an authentic pub style bar restaurant on-site, offering well priced traditional English meals at reasonable prices.

Food & beverage

We have a pub-style bar/restaurant where you can relax in a warm, cosy atmosphere. We have a good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks and a varied menu to suit all tastes.

Whether you are travelling alone, as couple or a family, you will find the bar/restaurant a wonderful place to eat, drink and relax. If you prefer to dine in a quieter environment, the dining room next to the bar is available.

Our extensive menu is available 7 nights per week with reasonably priced meals. All our produce is sourced from local suppliers and delivered daily. We also have a children’s menu.

Room information

Our bedrooms are well-appointed and individually styled, set up to a high standard to give a cosy and comfortable stay.

We have a combination of ground floor and first floor rooms, although we do not have full disabled facilities or a lift. About 50% of our rooms are on the ground floor, and can be requested when making a reservation.

Area information

The local town of Horley is quiet literally a 5 minute walk from Gatwick Belmont Hotel. It is a small town but has all the usual shops and facilities that are needed. Crawley is 15 minutes away by car, bus or train, and has a much larger town centre with many large brand name shops and facilities. London and Brighton are within easy reach by train.

The CAA offices are located 10 minutes from Gatwick Belmont Hotel and you can use our shuttle service for pick up and drop off.
