Hotel information

Disabled parking spaces are available, with level access to the hotel’s automatic doors. A ramp is provided. There are 2 single rooms on the ground floor that have been adapted to suite guests with mobility problems, including an accessible bathroom with space to turn a wheelchair. Bathing boards available in the bath. There is level access to the bar and restaurant, with space under tables for wheelchairs. Staff have been briefed to describe menus if necessary and special diets can be catered for. The gym is situated on the 1st floor and, unfortunately, does not contain any designated disabled equipment.

Food & beverage

The Old Rangoon Restaurant offers a warm, friendly and very relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a wide variety of continental and traditional dishes, to suit both your taste and budget. Both à la carte and carvery menu options are available.

The Rangoon Cocktail Bar is an excellent choice for light snacks, complimented by a wide range of wines, spirits and beers.

Room service is also available.

Important information

Please note that with immediate effect the transfer service from the hotel into Newcastle Airport has been withdrawn. Any bookings already made offering transfers already made will be honoured. The hotel is on site at Newcastle Airport and the terminal building is just 3 minutes’ walk away. If assistance is required getting to the airport, please ask at reception on arrival at the hotel.

Group Bookings:
Group bookings for 10 rooms or more need to be prepaid and are non-refundable.

Stag/hen parties are subject to a bond of GBP 600, which is fully refundable should there be no problems/damages.
